About The Position

The OB Hospitalist position at Monument Health Rapid City Hospital involves providing comprehensive care for unassigned patients and managing obstetric emergencies. This role is designed for both full-time and part-time candidates, offering a structured work schedule with 24-hour shifts. The facility is equipped with a Level III NICU and supports a collaborative environment with in-house anesthesia and maternal-fetal medicine consultations.

Requirements

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Active SD medical license.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all unassigned patients and any Ob/Gyn emergencies.
• Provide backup support to midwives and private practice physicians.
