About The Position

Implement new design engineering packages through Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) in ENOVIA PDM and SAP ERP, establishing product structures optimized for manufacturing and procurement workflows. Demonstrate goal management and task prioritization skills to meet overall project schedules and milestones. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, with relationship management skills and multicultural awareness. Assemble and troubleshoot prototype electrical and opto‑mechanical test fixtures. Manage suppliers, including specification agreements, cost control, ramp readiness, quality assurance, and failure analysis. Facilitate shipping and packaging design for field‑replicable units. Apply design‑for‑manufacturability and remote manufacturability principles. Possess working knowledge of machining, sheet metal fabrication, and opto‑mechanical assembly manufacturing processes. Create work instructions and test procedures. Train manufacturing, installation/upgrade, and service personnel. Apply manufacturing quality practices and process controls. Utilize 3D CAD tools, including Solidworks and Pro/ENGINEER (Creo). Proficiency with MS Project, PowerPoint, JMP, Excel, and Word. Preferred - Certification project management to comply to: Semi S2, S8, S22 ; CE; Pneumatics spec EN983; IEC61010; ROHS; and EN 60825 Travel - less than 10%

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering discipline is required.
  • BS degree plus 8 years, OR Master's degree plus 5 years, OR Ph.D. degree plus 3 years of relevant experience and accomplishments.
  • Proficiency with MS Project, PowerPoint, JMP, Excel, and Word.
