New Product Introduction and Product Marketing Lead - Advanced compute and solutions Description - The One HP Creative and Digital Services marketing team is looking for a marketer to develop insights-led new product introduction (NPI) strategies and assets, with continuous refinement and oversight through product lifecycle. This role will be focused on the Advanced Compute Solutions portfolio (Z workstations and solutions). Responsibilities Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of NPI and Product Marketing for HP Solutions Hardware, the candidate will experience a range of tasks including but not limited to: Define and write product value propositions, ensuring clear differentiation from adjacent products—and key competitors—and driving consistent execution across assets and teams. Drive end-to-end creation of omnichannel assets for NPIs—messaging, imagery, etail, videos, email, digital/social ads, and web—with creative excellence and ensuring all assets meet the same exceptional standards. Ensure close collaboration with business unit, category, and market teams, and centers like HP.com, search, and comms, to bring the 4Ps of marketing to life. Stay in lock-step with product and category peers to understand product performance and post-launch customer insights and refine positioning, messaging, and/or assets as needed. Inspire and manage agencies to develop impactful, high-caliber work and ensure agency personnel continue to desire to work on our business. Manage functional budgets and forecasting for related to your projects. Knowledge & Skills Understanding of the role of creative across the mix with the ability to ascertain great from average creative. Track record in insights and data led strategic communications planning that informs world class briefs and therefore world class creative. Experience in managing multiple concurrent projects or programs from insights to in-market (including production). Exceptional writing—must be able to influence and write messaging. Experience in creative production for optical and digital photography, optical and CGI video, and traditional advertising production (digital, social, etc.). Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and functional disciplines, both within and outside HP. Pragmatic approach to managing curve balls—someone who always finds a way to “get it done” You are unfailingly diplomatic and openly consultative. You can ably manage budget planning and process. You are excited to lead by example, and mentor less experienced team members. Education & Experience Recommended Four-year or Graduate Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
