Kenvue is currently recruiting for a New Product Development Project Manager. This position reports into the Senior Manager PMO Innovation Lead and is based at Summit, NJ. The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams to successfully launch both new products and modifications to the current product portfolio (Lifecycle Management) starting from project definition through to introduction into the market. The Project Manager is responsible for achieving the targets set during project definition and is accountable for managing risks, timelines, ensuring processes are followed, and managing project communication and escalation. Additionally, this role is responsible for providing visibility to the total project portfolio including reporting and resource management.

  • Lead overall project execution to ensure timely achievement of project goals.
  • Establish clear project objectives and scope to guide the team throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources, and milestones.
  • Ensure all operational aspects are prepared and aligned for successful project launch.
  • Facilitate collaboration among diverse teams at each project phase to maximize efficiency.
  • Oversee all project activities, ensuring they align with project timelines and objectives.
  • Identify, monitor, and manage potential risks and opportunities throughout the project.
  • Communicate project progress, challenges, and updates with senior management to secure support and alignment.
  • Drive the approval process and status updates for New Product Development (NPD) and Lifecycle Management projects in governance forums.
  • Lead efforts to identify, communicate, and resolve key issues in collaboration with key managers.
  • Provide ongoing status updates to all levels of the organization, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Identify lessons learned and best practices to enhance future project execution and governance processes.
  • Bachelors in Physical Sciences, Engineering, Business & Marketing, or appropriate related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in related field, Supply Chain, R&D, Packaging, Quality.
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Product knowledge.
  • Experience with leadership and conflict resolution skills.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of team dynamics.
  • Broad business acumen with knowledge of project related finance.
  • Knowledge of planning and organization.
  • Experience with new product development processes and terminology.
  • Six Sigma/Process Excellence, Agile, Project Management certifications are highly desired.
  • Masters Degree in technical or management field.
  • Experience working in the healthcare industry with skin care or health care products.
  • Highly effective knowledge of organizational & business acumen.
  • Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $98,000.00 - $167,900.00.
