About The Position

Radius, located in Weatherford, Texas is a division of The Toro Company. Radius is a customer-centered HDD tooling manufacturer that services customers of all major brands. Radius products are sold and serviced worldwide. We are currently seeking a New Product Development Manager to support the execution of product development projects and lifecycle activities by designing products, coordinating timelines, creating documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional partners. This role blends design engineering, market research, product management, project management, and continuous improvement to develop products and other solutions that improve market share, profits and industry leadership. #LI-Onsite

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product development, coordination, or operations.
  • Proficiency with computer aided design (CAD) software
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ECO documentation preferred.
  • Exposure to product lifecycle or product management environments preferred.
  • Familiarity with financial basics such as cost tracking or margin awareness preferred.
  • HDD (horizontal directional drilling) industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Use CAD to design and develop products to profitably address market needs.
  • Support prototyping, testing, validation, and market launch activities.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineering and others to optimize design and maximize ROI.
  • Develop technical documentation for support, reference, and training purposes.
  • Gather and analyze competitive data, market research, and customer feedback.
  • Manage projects in support of product roadmap and other goals.
  • Maintain product documentation and lifecycle records.
  • Drive project deliverables using project management tools.
  • Organize cross-functional meetings and drive action items.
  • Identify schedule, scope or cost risks and drive resolution.
  • Support and lead collaboration on product across the organization.
  • Prepare and present proposed product solutions to peers and leadership.
  • Incorporate and address the Voice of the Customer (VOC) in all solutions.
  • Support the ECO process with accurate record-keeping and compliance tracking.
  • Maintain documentation standards within PLM and project systems.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency.

  • Competitive Salary – The pay range takes into account skills, experience, education, and location. It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual pay range is between $95,000 - $119,000. Cash compensation is one piece of our competitive total rewards package. You may be eligible to participate in an incentive program, which rewards employees based on individual and organizational performance. Eligibility and award amounts are determined by company policy and performance metrics.
