About The Position

The position involves assisting referred clients from healthcare physicians, law firms, and funding companies by scheduling appointments through EClinicalWorks. The role requires effective communication with law offices, the Marketing Director, and other areas of the practice to ensure patients are scheduled with the requested physician. The candidate will be responsible for tracking requests via phone, email, fax, and Referral MD, as well as collecting new patient demographics and medical records when necessary. Verifying health insurance may also be required. The candidate must maintain a calm demeanor under pressure, especially when emergency patient appointments need to be scheduled quickly. Adaptability in scheduling and rescheduling patients according to the correct appointment types is essential. Additionally, the candidate will document all encounters in patient accounts and complete other infrequent tasks as needed due to changes in process or structure.

Requirements

• EMR scheduling - EClinicalWorks required
• Personal Injury background
• Proficient in typing (40 wpm)
• Customer Service skills
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume practice
• Ability to multitask
• Attention to detail with data entry
• Working knowledge of computers, fax machines, and other technology

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual (in Spanish) preferred but not required
