About The Position

The Module Equipment Technician role at Intel's New Mexico Disaggregation Manufacturing Operation involves performing functions associated with wafer production, including operations, equipment maintenance, process optimization, and training. This entry-level position offers a compressed work week schedule, allowing for a balance between work and personal time. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and ensuring the stability of production processes while working in a clean room environment.

Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field, or 1-year technical certification or trade school in an equipment/technical focused program, or 1-year related equipment preventative maintenance experience, or related military experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

  • Perform operations and equipment maintenance for wafer production.
  • Conduct on-line equipment adjustments and ensure process optimization.

  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and assist in determining problems in the manufacturing process.
  • Participate in safety forums and Emergency Response Team as required.
  • Review technological health and stability and improve processes.
