The Columbia Association Aquatics Department is in need of mature and friendly applicants to work as New Lifeguards this season. They will need to be 15 years old by the Saturday before Memorial Day and be able to pass a water screening test prior to being interviewed. We are looking for candidates who are attentive to detail, follow directions well, and have good time management. Our lifeguards are expected to be responsive to customer needs, communicate our policies of the pool clearly, and enjoy interacting with people. The starting pay rate for this position is $16.25 an hour. CA offers a positive, fun work environment and a generous benefits package. As a reminder to all applicants, the Aquatics Staff will do all they can to honor the pool preferences indicated. During the season, staff members will be scheduled to work at connected facilities, partnered pools, or in dire cases, anywhere under the Columbia Association Aquatics umbrella.
