Requirements

  • Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to interact professionally with customers, lenders, and team members
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • 2+ years of Office Administrative experience preferred
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Ability to manage workflow proficiently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel

  • New Home Builder Experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and supervise subcontractor repairs
  • Respond to all incoming warranty requests by following standard procedures set by the Production Manager
  • Troubleshoot construction-related issues, explain details of the written warranty provided to customers, and coordinate schedules of all parties involved
  • Schedule inspections with homeowners, assess routine warranty claims, and complete all service requests
  • Evaluate subcontractor and product performance while providing up-to-date information to the Production Manager
  • Maintain detailed Warranty Reports
  • Document all warranty-related communication
  • Work alongside third-party relationships such as lenders, permit authorities, title agents, and trade partners, and Municipalities
  • Process weekly invoices for approval
  • Answers incoming telephone calls promptly in a polite, professional manner. Determine the purpose of calls, and forwards them appropriately while monitoring staff availability
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail
  • Oversee and assist in ordering clerical supplies for the model home and office
  • Handle special administrative projects and overflow work from the department, as needed
  • Welcomes clients and on-site visitors in a cheerful and professional manner; determines the nature of their visit and announce guests to appropriate personnel
