About The Position

The Sales Consultant is responsible for the conversion of leads/prospects to customers, generating referrals, and building strategic customer and realtor relationships to maximize revenue for the organization. The role involves selling and closing PulteGroup products, monitoring Customer Quality Experience (CQE) goals, generating leads from customer referrals and core realtor groups, conducting interviews with prospects, making presentations to model visitors, and demonstrating the models, spec homes, and community amenities. The Sales Consultant will explain financial aspects of home buying, prepare required paperwork, assist in making appointments with various departments, keep homebuyers updated on construction progress, and manage communication with appropriate departments. Regular audits of community materials and competitive shops are also part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of related functional experience.
  • Ability to work all posted hours of operation.
  • Ability to work weekends and all non-exempt holidays.
  • Appropriate license or certifications as required by the state.
  • Completion of the Sales Consultant Learning and Certification Program.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills and ability to build relationships with prospective homebuyers.

Responsibilities

  • Sell and close PulteGroup products.
  • Monitor and meet Customer Quality Experience (CQE) goals.
  • Generate leads from customer referrals and core realtor group.
  • Conduct interviews with prospects for current/future home sales.
  • Make presentations to model visitors and demonstrate models, spec homes, and community amenities.
  • Explain principal and interest payments, taxes, insurance, CC&R's, homeowner associations, and club/golf membership plans.
  • Prepare required paperwork for each home sale and for prospective purchasers.
  • Assist in making prospective homebuyer appointments with design center, mortgage, key inspection, and settlement departments.
  • Keep homebuyer updated on construction progress and estimated completion dates.
  • Communicate customer requests for information or service to appropriate departments.
  • Actively manage backlog and communicate with Pulte Mortgage and/or outside lenders.
  • Conduct regular monthly competitive shops and report findings.
  • Regularly walk model park, sales center, and community features to identify items that are not customer ready.
  • Audit community website, MLS, collateral, and other consumer-facing material for accuracy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
