Requirements

  • High school diploma, with a minimum 3 years' experience in sales.
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in business or related area preferred.
  • Outstanding sales and customer service record.
  • New home or residential home sales experience is preferred.
  • Proficient computer knowledge and skills.
  • Exceptional time-management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Driving the overall sales process.
  • Maintaining continual development and implementation of effective and efficient sales and administration programs.
  • Providing product and company information.
  • Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to help drive leads and convert prospects into buyers.
  • Ensuring the effectiveness of the overall sales process.
  • Actively participating in meeting or exceeding the sales targets and goals as specified in the Business Plan.
  • Continually looking for ways to improve sales pace and/or customer satisfaction by suggesting and evaluating innovative ideas.
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of a continual prospecting plan through all communication mediums (phone, email, web, etc.).
  • Influencing prospects to purchase a home.
  • Welcoming/greeting all prospects and delivering personalized presentations.
  • Ensuring that our products from the sales center, Quick Move-in homes, and Model Homes are presented professionally and marketed according to company standards.
  • Presenting and reviewing all new home sales agreements with customers and entering agreements into appropriate computer systems.
  • Effectively corresponding with prospects/homeowners and following up with all leads.
  • Recognizing that business is built on customer satisfaction and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining daily interaction with construction and purchasing departments on any changes or problems relating to sales.
  • Providing innovative marketing solutions, alternative channels and points of product differentiation.
  • Creating ongoing and detailed competitive analyses, developed through constant review of product positioning, sales prices, premiums, and marketing incentives.
  • Delivering weekly reports.
  • Assisting the negotiations and conflict resolution as it relates to challenging situations in the course of a sale and close of escrow.
  • Ensuring that all required information for the successful execution of sales contracts is submitted timely and accurately to the appropriate departments.
