About The Position

The position involves selling homes by optimizing the new home sales process and enhancing the customer experience in assigned communities. Responsibilities include touring model homes with prospective buyers, engaging in the defined selling process, managing communication with buyers post-purchase, and participating in community team meetings to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Real estate license, if required by state law.
  • Minimum of 1 year previous sales experience required.
  • New home sales experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of sales programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Current working knowledge of homebuilding and the residential real estate industry.
  • Ability to prepare, plan and deliver clear and persuasive sales presentations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Sell homes by optimizing the new home sales and customer experience in assigned community(ies).
  • Tour model homes with prospective buyers.
  • Engage in the Company's defined selling process during product tours.
  • Close prospective buyers by asking closing-related questions during presentations.
  • Familiarize buyers with community layout and homesites.
  • Secure New Home Gallery and models during visits.
  • Manage backlog and maintain communication with buyers post-purchase.
  • Participate in weekly community team communication meetings.
  • Utilize data in the Company's CRM system to drive sales activities.
  • Process sales documentation for prospective buyers.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless sales process.
  • Initiate follow-up phone calls and host public and broker events.
  • Ensure successful closing of sales in assigned communities.
  • Travel to onsite corporate offices for division sales rallies.
  • Discuss and explain the home building and buying process to buyers.
  • Prepare weekly update reports of prospective customer traffic.
  • Conduct competitive market analysis and provide feedback to management.
