New Hire Onboarding Facilitator

About the position

Shimadzu Scientific Instruments is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the design, delivery, and administration of employee development programs. From onboarding to career advancement, you will play a key part in enhancing employee skills and ensuring their growth within the company. Responsibilities

• Facilitate and manage content for Immersion, Shimadzu's new hire orientation program, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience and equipping employees with organizational and procedural knowledge and skills needed to succeed in their roles.
• Create instructional materials for both in-person and online formats using tools such as Canva and Powerpoint.
• Work with subject matter experts to design and implement impactful learning experiences that enhance performance.
• Assist in organizing and tracking new hire onboarding, from scheduling sessions to ensuring technical setups are completed.
• Review feedback from training sessions to improve and refine content, processes, and the overall learning experience.
• Provide professional and timely assistance to new hires and employees during training and development programs.
• Offer insights and feedback on training engagement, attendance, and program effectiveness to the Talent Development Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Educational Technologies, Instructional Design, Human Resources Development, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in employee training, development, or HR-related roles.
• Strong organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Ability to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing recommendations for continuous development.
