New Grad RN opening for very busy Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department. This opening is 36 hours per week, day/night rotation with weekend and holiday requirements. Qualified candidates must have previous experience either working in an Emergency Department as an ED Tech, practicum/capstone in an Emergency Department or worked as an EMT. Job Summary Summary Responsible for patient care, collaboration within interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring the highest standards of healthcare are maintained through skilled nursing expertise, support, and patient advocacy, all while under the guidance and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree Nursing required
  • MA Registered Nurse License required
  • Hospital or managed care experience 0-1 year preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development.
  • Qualified candidates must have previous experience either working in an Emergency Department as an ED Tech, practicum/capstone in an Emergency Department or worked as an EMT.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and assist in treatments and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Educate patients and families on health management and post-care instructions.
  • Uphold infection control measures to ensure a safe clinical environment.
  • Respond efficiently and effectively to emergent situations, demonstrating sound judgment and critical thinking skills.
