Trainees work directly under the supervision of the Professional Development team and experienced radiologic technologist preceptors , receiving individualized clinical instruction and competency-based training. Fellows will gain experience supporting diagnostic imaging services, including musculoskeletal radiography and orthopedic imaging procedures. Department placement and rotations may vary based on operational needs and learning opportunities. The clinical orientation process includes progressive learning objectives, structured competencies, and ongoing feedback designed to support the transition from student to independent practicing technologist. Fellows will receive regular evaluations and guidance from clinical preceptors, the Professional Development team, and departmental leadership to ensure skill development, patient safety, and clinical confidence.
