The BHSF March 2025 New Grad RN Residency is now accepting applications. This comprehensive, evidence-based onboarding, education and training program is designed specifically to transition newly graduated registered nurses from students to safe, competent professional practitioners. The program is designed to help them gain the experience, judgment, skills and confidence they need to navigate the complexity of hospital life. Integrated into our hospital's educational structure, the BHSF New Grad RN Residency includes guided preceptor clinical experience, instructor-led core curriculum, interactive classes and skills labs, a formal mentoring program, debriefing/self-care sessions, and 360-degree evaluation. RN Residents, with support, progress to the competent level quickly, safely, and effectively. The length of the residency program is 18-22 weeks. The Residency is projected to begin on March 24, 2025. This opportunity is open to recent RN graduates with less than 6 months of acute care experience, or RNs with under 1 year of experience in non-acute care settings. The availability of the program is subject to change and will proceed based on organizational needs. To express interest in the event that an RN Residency is offered, please register.
