New Graduate (May/June 2026) – Power Delivery Engineer
About The Position
As a new graduate engineer in ENERCON’s Power Delivery group, you’ll step into a dynamic role where your work directly supports the backbone of modern energy systems. Whether your focus is on distribution networks or substation design, you’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team tackling real-world challenges that impact utilities, independent power producers, and industrial clients. From day one, you’ll contribute to the design, analysis, and inspection of critical infrastructure ranging from transmission lines and substations to greenfield distribution projects. You’ll gain hands-on experience using industry tools, apply current codes and standards, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. With mentorship from experienced engineers and exposure to field work, you’ll build a strong foundation in both technical and project management skills. Requirements
- Graduated or graduating with a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an ABET- accredited school in one of our listed preferred majors.
- Available to start between May 2026 and August 2026. Graduating May-June 2026 preferred.
- Strong intellectual curiosity to learn more about modern energy systems.
- A solid working foundation with your major’s core concepts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
- Ability to effectively problem solve.
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders at client sites.
- Must be able to effectively navigate client sites to conduct walkdowns.
- Must be able to work outside.
- Ability and willingness to travel for client and company projects and/or meetings.
- Completion of pre interview assessments.
- College transcript submitted for anyone under 1 year of experience post-graduation.
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client-specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) checks according to company and client policies.
- Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the US without requiring current or future sponsorship.
