We are looking to develop the next generation of retail leadership at Sprouts Farmers Market - a Fortune 500 company and one of the fastest growing retailers in the United States. This program will focus on the development of Assistant Store Managers (ASM), who are key in assisting with the efficient and profitable operations of the store. In the absence of the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager assumes complete responsibility for all phases of store operations. Program Start Date: January 2026 & June 2026. Hiring locations: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, New Jersey, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, Tennessee, Utah & Virginia (actual store locations to be determined). Eligibility: You are within 6 months of graduation from a full-time bachelors or masters degree program. January class graduation requirement: May 2025 - December 2025. June class graduation requirement: December 2025 - May 2026. Onboarding process: 10 weeks of in-store leadership and department specific training followed by 10 weeks of on-the-job shadowing.   • Assist the Store Manager in ensuring cleanliness, safety and a well-stocked inventory.
  • Assist with forecasts, schedules, and monitor labor to be consistent with store sales and productivity guidelines and wage budgets.
  • Create action plans to address cost control issues.
  • Direct, oversee, and evaluate the training of all perishable department Team Members.
  • Develop and maintain communication with other departments and Store Manager to execute merchandising plans.
  • Obtain or be in pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree (targeting May 2025 through May 2026 graduates).
  • Have retail experience or project exposure to the retail industry.
  • Be dependable and reliable, with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess a proven leadership ability to build, motivate and maintain staff.
  • Have strong focus on detail, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Be responsible for compliance with food safety and sanitation issues.
  • Have strong organization and planning skills; able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
  • Have the ability to lift moderately heavy loads up to 75 lbs.
