About The Position

CommonSpirit operates over 700 care sites across the U.S., including clinics, hospitals, home-based care, and virtual services, aiming to build healthy communities and innovate healing. The organization is recruiting for its Summer 2026 cohort, with a start date of July 20, 2026, and encourages those graduating later or unable to take the NCLEX in time to apply for the Fall 2026 Cohort. The New Graduate RN Residency Program is a comprehensive 12-month program focusing on leadership, patient outcomes, and professional role, providing support from leaders and mentors. Participants will experience different shifts, patient populations, and unit cultures across various locations in Colorado, western Kansas, and Utah. The program offers pathways in Critical Care (ICU), Emergency, Intermediate Care, Med/Surg, NICU, OR, and Women's Services.

Requirements

Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates
Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact

Nice To Haves

Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
One year experience preferred

Responsibilities

Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
