About The Position

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of Oregon required one week prior to hire date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or a non-nursing Bachelor's degree with a Master of Nursing (MSN) is required.
• Less than one year of nursing experience is required.
• Agreement to complete BSN within three years of hire is required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in orthopedic nursing or related fields.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic care to patients and their families in the Orthopedic/Joint Replacement Center of Excellence.
• Care for patients with fractures, orthopedic trauma, and elective orthopedic surgeries.
• Collaborate with therapy services, medical providers, care managers, and other ancillary services.
• Participate in a structured residency program that includes skills training and mentorship.
• Utilize the nursing process to deliver safe, quality healthcare to patients with acute and critical needs.
