About The Position

Requirements

• Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State (must pass NCLEX within 90 days of graduation).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification obtained within 1 year of employment.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, completed by start date.
• No previous experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers.
• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely manner.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patients for therapeutic responses.
• Notify providers and intervene as appropriate in the event of an unintended response to medication.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate patient needs proactively.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, and medications.
