About The Position

Lerner Tower 7 is a 30 bed telemetry unit with a primary focus on the care of vascular surgery and general neurology patients. As part of the Harrington Heart and Vascular Institute and Neurological Institute, Lerner Tower 7 is proud to be the designated unit caring for patients with vascular, cardiac and neurological diseases. All 30 of our beds are capable of providing continuous cardiac monitoring and nurses are trained to interpret and monitor the cardiac rhythms (telemetry). Some of the common patient diagnoses include post-carotid endarterectomy, post-carotid artery stenting, post-cardiac catheterization, chest pain, CHF, aneurysm, stroke, ALS and autonomic disorders. Requirements

Diploma RN, Associate or Bachelor's Degree of Nursing from an accredited program
An Ohio RN license is not required to be considered for this position. If selected to move forward, employment offers may be made contingent on candidate successfully obtaining RN license within time frame discussed at the time of offer acceptance.
Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.
Note: Education and degree verification will be required upon receiving a job offer.

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred
Prior experience on a related unit or specialty in a practicum, internship or STNA/PCNA/NAII is preferred
