About The Position

Lakeside 60 is a 21 bed Telemetry unit that specializes in complex medically acute patients and infectious disease (ID). Our patients are admitted from, outside hospitals or the ED. We also receive a significant number of patients from the MICU. LK60 is a great unit for new grads to build the foundation of their nursing career. We care for a wide variety of diagnosis. Our patient populations helps develop strong assessment skills, critical thinking skills and exposure to a variety of nursing procedures. LK60 has developed some very strong nurses who have continued their careers in the ICU, Women’s Health and Pediatrics.

Requirements

• Diploma RN, Associate or Bachelor's Degree of Nursing from an accredited program.
• An Ohio RN license is not required to be considered for this position.
• Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.
• Education and degree verification will be required upon receiving a job offer.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• Prior experience on a related unit or specialty in a practicum, internship or STNA/PCNA/NAII is preferred.
