About The Position

Lerner Tower 3 is a 30 bed, adult, cardiothoracic surgery step-down unit with full telemetry capabilities. The diagnoses seen here include postop cardiac surgery, CABG and valve surgeries, and heart and lung transplants. This position is designed for new graduate RNs looking to start their careers in a supportive and educational environment.

Requirements

• Diploma RN, Associate or Bachelor's Degree of Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred
• Prior experience on a related unit or specialty in a practicum, internship or STNA/PCNA/NAII is preferred.
