About The Position

The Nurse Transition to Practice program is designed for newly graduated nurses or nurses looking to develop their professional skills in either a medical surgical or emergency department setting. Candidates must be able to commit to full time hours for the duration of the program (32 hrs/wk minimum).

Requirements

• Preferred one year of RN experience in med surg, telemetry, or similar setting OR at least two years of experience as an EMT (intermediate or advanced), ED Tech, or paramedic.
• Must be able to obtain ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (if hired within the Emergency Dept) within first 12 weeks of employment.
• Must have MA RN license before start of the program.
