The New Coworker Engagement Specialist coordinates all aspects of new hire programs to ensure a smooth and highly engaging onboarding experience. The specialist collaborates with stakeholders including education, recruitment, physician services, information technology and organizational leaders facilitate internal onboarding processes. The New Coworker Engagement Specialist plays a key role in the retention and success of new coworkers. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Presents and facilitates the delivery of Orientation Day 1 to new coworker with enthusiasm and passion. Demonstrates the ability to present to groups of new coworkers regarding topics such as Policy and Procedures, Safety and Security, and Behavioral Expectations. Presents a positive and professional image. Participates and/or leads various onboarding or HR projects and initiatives. Serves as subject matter expert to determine system effectiveness, suggests continuous quality improvements, reports and assesses outcomes. Maintains data integrity in all systems, spreadsheets and documents to ensure that all stakeholders have real- time accurate information concerning new hires onboarding. Initiates verbal and written correspondence to new coworkers clarifying each step in the onboarding process. Responds promptly to inquiries via all modes of communication, ie., Emails, Instant Messages, Service Now Cases and Voice Messages. Proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Coordinates all aspects of new hire programs to include Pre-Hire System Access, Background Check and Employee Health appointments, Orientation Day 1, Orientation and Training Schedules. Manages successful completion of all tasks to clear coworkers to begin employment and communicates change in employment status to new hires and stakeholders. Ensures smooth and consistent communication with all stakeholders. Promotes and exemplifies our mission and values while engaging our new coworkers with an exceptional onboarding experience. Facilitate a smooth and seamless transition from pre hire to a new coworker by ensuring that all training sessions and new coworker information are communicated effectively with a consistent Franciscan brand, through the incorporation of scripting with their engaging style. Serves as a resource for questions and or assistance during and after the new coworker's onboarding experience.
