About The Position

We are seeking a New Construction Technician in Columbia, SC to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for installing our state-of-the-art home security solutions for residential customers. This is an excellent opportunity to earn performance-based income while providing a valuable service and offering additional products to our customers

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in electronics, electrical, HVAC, or a related field is a plus.
Strong sales skills, with an emphasis on upselling and closing techniques.
Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to safety.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Positive attitude, professional appearance, and flexibility to work weekends.

Responsibilities

Install and repair electrical wiring for low-voltage systems, including alarm, security, fiber optic, and Cat 5 cabling.
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately determine installation locations and methods.
Diagnose and troubleshoot problems in low-voltage systems to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of wiring and electronic systems, with a focus on attention to detail.
Exhibit strong communication and customer service skills, along with familiarity with electrical building codes and proficiency in using power tools.
