About The Position
This is a full-time, direct placement role at Citadel Roofing and Solar. Citadel Roofing and Solar is a well-established fast growing fully integrated roofing and solar company with more than 30 years of contracting experience, and a stellar reputation of service excellence to new construction homebuilders and homeowners throughout Northern, Central, and Southern California. Our focus and core expertise is New Construction. We serve national, regional and local homebuilders, real estate developers, and general contractors, providing long-lasting roofing, solar, and home battery storage solutions for single-family homes, multi-family dwellings, and commercial buildings. We leverage that expertise to also provide New Construction-grade roofing, solar, and home battery storage solutions to existing homeowners. In all cases, reliable execution and customer service are at the heart of our operations. We are currently looking for a Solar Designer to excel on our growing New Construction Solar Team! The Solar Designer will design PV systems for our new construction residential housing projects (including multi-family) throughout California. Projects will range in size from 2 – 100kW. Working closely with internal stakeholders in various departments, the Solar Designer will be responsible for managing the designs for projects from pre-construction stage through interconnection.
