Position Summary The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all field operations and leading a team of Field Representatives. This role serves as the central point of coordination between builders, installers, and internal teams to ensure projects stay on track and meet expectations. This is a hands-on leadership role. The Production Manager will step into the field when needed, support installation operations, and maintain strong working relationships across all levels of the business. In addition to flooring, this role oversees a wide range of interior finish scopes including garage doors, bath accessories, shower doors, shelving, and door hardware.

Requirements

  • Experience in flooring, construction, or related trades required
  • Prior leadership or team management experience prefered
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at once
  • Comfortable working both in the field and in a leadership capacity
  • Strong relationship-building skills with customers and subcontractors
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and support a team of Field Representatives
  • Act as the main point of contact for builder production teams
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, installers, and internal staff
  • Oversee installation and completion of flooring and interior finish products (garage doors, bath accessories, shower doors, shelving, and door hardware)
  • Step in to cover Field Representative responsibilities when needed
  • Support installation operations, including filling in for Installation Managers as needed
  • Walk residential and commercial job sites to ensure quality and progress
  • Address and resolve issues involving builders, project managers, field reps, and installers
  • Ensure projects stay on schedule and meet company standards
  • Communicate effectively across departments to keep everyone aligned
