As a Process Engineer, this role oversees the health and performance of assigned processes, ensuring high‑quality output and proactive risk mitigation for manufacturing operations. The position is responsible for process startup, development, optimization, and problem resolution to support yield improvement, cost reduction, and overall fab efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in process development or semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Strong process area knowledge and understanding of DRAM development and manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated automation experience including coding, machine learning, or JMP scripting.
  • Understanding of process flow, SPC principles, recipe management, physics, chemistry, and algebraic concepts.

  • Data science understanding.
  • Experience coordinating multifunctional teams to drive project completion.
  • Experience managing supplier relationships for quality, cost control, and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

  • Start up, develop, and optimize processes to improve product quality, yield, cost, and productivity.
  • Diagnose and resolve process‑related issues using methodologies such as failure analysis, FMEA, 8D, SPC, and FDC.
  • Coordinate and perform process, equipment, and material evaluations to implement improvement changes.
  • Lead and participate in yield improvement, cost optimization, and new process baseline qualification activities.
  • Manage and collaborate with material suppliers to support quality, cost, and risk‑mitigation objectives.
  • Apply problem‑solving skills to address complex issues.
