About The Position

Joe Cooper Ford of Shawnee is seeking an experienced and driven New Car Sales Manager to lead our New Car Sales department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the sales team, driving new vehicle sales performance, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and ensuring efficient operations of the department.

Requirements

  • Ford new car sales manager experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to desk deals and structure transactions effectively.
  • Experience with dealership CRM and DMS systems.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving and team-building skills.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train and retain top sales talent.
  • Set measurable performance standards.
  • Lead, coach, and develop sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Manage new vehicle sales process from customer introduction to delivery.
  • Understand the market and develop strategies for acquiring, managing and moving appropriate inventory.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of manufacturer programs, incentives, and inventory.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to drive showroom traffic and lead generation.
  • Monitor sales performance.
  • Establish goals.
  • Implement strategies to improve results.
