About The Position

The New Car Lot Porter supports the sales team by maintaining organization of new vehicle inventory, managing key control, and assisting customers throughout their dealership experience. This role plays a vital part in keeping operations moving efficiently while ensuring vehicles and customers are handled with professionalism and care.

Requirements

Ability to safely operate vehicles in tight spaces and various driving conditions.
Ability to stand, walk, and move vehicles for extended periods of time.
Must be authorized to work in the USA.
Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements, including drug testing, background check, and MVR.

Previous automotive dealership or porter experience.

Responsibilities

Move, stage, and park new vehicles to maintain an organized, customer-ready lot display.
Retrieve, track, and store vehicle keys with accuracy and strong attention to detail.
Assist customers face-to-face by directing them to appropriate sales staff and supporting vehicle deliveries.
Provide transportation for customers as needed, including local drop-offs and pick-ups.
Transport vehicles between dealership locations, nearby lots, auctions, or offsite storage.
Pick up purchased vehicles from auction and ensure proper intake upon arrival.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the new car lot, showroom entrances, and display areas.
Follow all safety policies and immediately report any vehicle damage or incidents to management.
