About The Position

We are searching for compassionate and energetic individuals to join our team. We are seeking a Full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) based in our mid-town Charlotte office. Travel will be required to other locations and will cover hospital/cases and clinics. We are a private practice where you will work closely with our highly sub-specialized group of Neurosurgeons. Essential Job Responsibilities: Performs comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations Interprets laboratory and diagnostic tests Interprets and correlates subjective and objective data Formulates a differential diagnosis and establishes a working diagnosis Develops a treatment plan for neurosurgical conditions within the scope of practice and in conjunction with the neurosurgeon Implements therapeutic intervention for specific conditions where appropriate Exercises judgment on conditions requiring consultation, referral or evaluation by the supervising neurosurgeon or other healthcare professionals Office & Hospital Duties & Responsibilities: Sees new and established office patients, and completes a thorough history and physical examination that is problem-oriented for neurosurgical conditions Helps to formulate treatment plans for neurosurgical issues in the outpatient setting Orders and interprets appropriate radiographic studies and diagnostic testing including x-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, and injections Evaluates post-operative patients and conducts routine follow-up visits Handles narcotic prescription refills Assists in clinical research trials First assists in surgery Rounds on neurosurgical patients in the inpatient setting Takes in-house call, evaluates new neurosurgical consults in the inpatient setting and discusses plan of care with attending Complies with all of our processes and HIPPA regulations Applies our values in decision-making and interactions with all individuals Promotes a positive work environment through effective teamwork. Other duties as assigned by changing needs, patient flow, or physician request.
