We are seeking a full-time Neurosurgeon to join a hospital-based practice in McAllen/Edinburg, Texas. Quick Facts• Employment Type: Full-Time• Schedule / Hours: Standard clinical and surgical hours with shared call coverage• Call: Shared call with other local neurosurgeons• Patient Volume: Busy neurosurgery practice with diverse case mix• Location: McAllen/Edinburg, Texas (Rio Grande Valley)• Practice Setting: Hospital-based neurosurgery group within South Texas Health System (STHS)• Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary team including neurosurgeons, APPs, and support staff• EMR / Technology: Cerner electronic medical record system
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
- Active or eligible Texas medical license
- Experience in cranial and spinal neurosurgery required
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive neurosurgical care including cranial and spinal procedures to adult and pediatric patients
- Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff to deliver optimal outcomes
- Manage inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical cases and shared call responsibilities
- Document all patient care efficiently using Cerner EMR
