Specialty: Neurosurgery Job Type: Locum Tenens Facility Location: Petoskey, MI Service Setting: Inpatient Reason For Coverage: Supplemental Coverage Period: Jan 26, 2026 - Ongoing Coverage Type: Call only Shifts needed to be filled: - Jan 26 - Feb 2 - Feb 26 - Mar 2 - Apr 17 -27 Call Schedule: 24 -hr call; 8a -8a - 14 days per month Call Coverage: Emergent call, Emergent surgeries & IP rounding daily Patient Volume: 5 -10 Admission Required: Yes Rounding Included: Yes Physician in Practice: 2 (1 Neurosurg, 1 Ortho -Spinal Surgeon) Mid -levels in Practice: Neurosurgery APPs Required Procedures: Spinal & Cranial Imaging/Lab/Procedure Rooms/OR Onsite: Yes EMR: Cerner Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements

• Active MI License (IMLC acceptable if clean record)
• BC
• ACLS
• Fellowship w/ at least 2 -3 yrs of experience
• Clean background w/ no actions (minimum malpractice is OK)
• MUST perform both spinal & cranial
