Requirements

• High School or equivalent.
• 2 Years in performing EEG/NCV/EP/TCD.
• Current AHA BLS required.
• ABRET Registry - EEG/EP/NCV or CMMY, within 1 Year.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for independently performing standard and complex electroencephalograms, ambulatory EEGs, evoked potentials, and nerve conduction studies on all age groups (neonate to geriatric).
• Participates in departmental operations and decision making to increase efficiency/effectiveness, goals/mission.
• Complies departmental processes and assigned job responsibilities according to established time frames.
• Verifies daily charges and makes corrections within 2 working days.
• Communicates and follows up on phone messages in an accurate and timely manner.
• Actively participates in performance improvement monitoring, the development of action plans, and the evaluation of those plans.
