Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, with an emphasis in the life sciences preferred.
  • 1+ years of sales experience with at least 1 year in pharmaceutical or related healthcare sales.
  • For Sr. Specialist level, a minimum of 5+ years of healthcare sales with at least 2 years in complex or account-based selling environments.
  • Experience with specialty distribution and partnering with key opinion leaders and healthcare institutions.
  • Must be in good standing with the FDA and OIG.
  • Demonstrated advanced selling skills and ability to dialogue effectively with customers.
  • Strong leadership ability and understanding of the Total Account Call.
  • Strong understanding of payer dynamics and Specialty Pharmacy/Hub distribution.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver strong results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong persuasive selling and negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with key customers.
  • Ability to demonstrate exceptional disease state and product knowledge.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in neuroscience preferred.
  • Fundamental experience using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Proficient in web-based platforms (e.g., WebEx, Zoom) for virtual customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned sales territory, including selling products and addressing customer needs.
  • Provide exceptional value and service to existing and new customers in an in-person setting.
  • Educate physicians and their staff on the value of the Company’s products for patient care.
  • Utilize knowledge and dialogue skills to deliver meaningful customer experiences.
  • Anticipate and address healthcare professionals' objections, questions, and concerns.
  • Gain consistent access to customers using appropriate techniques.
  • Utilize sales aids and resources according to training and compliance policies.
  • Develop strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including key opinion leaders.
  • Investigate customer concerns and communicate with appropriate staff to solve problems.
  • Analyze sales potential and execute business plans to achieve strong results.
  • Prepare and submit timely reports of business transactions and maintain accurate expense records.
  • Provide guidance around pricing and reimbursement for promoted products.
  • Communicate and collaborate with sales management and cross-functional teammates.
  • Attend conferences, trainings, exhibits, and meetings as required.
  • Take on leadership opportunities and operate with a positive, collaborative attitude.
  • Participate in the training of new Sales Specialists and cross-functional projects.
  • Provide field strategic insights.
