About The Position

The Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Neuroscience Institute is seeking a full-time Vascular Neurologist to join their team at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. This role involves managing inpatient stroke services, participating in Telestroke service coverage, and staffing the outpatient vascular neurology clinic. The position also includes responsibilities in training neurology residents and contributing to the development of the cerebrovascular program.

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology
• Pennsylvania License
• Vascular Neurology Fellowship
• PhD/MD Graduate of accredited medical school with degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
• Completion of accredited residency and fellowship if required by specialty
• Current PA MD licensure in good standing
• Current unrestricted DEA certificate

Responsibilities

• Manage inpatient stroke service
• Participate in Telestroke service coverage

• Train and educate neurology residents
• Contribute to the development of the cerebrovascular program
