About The Position
Tyler Radiology Associates (TRA) is seeking qualified candidates for Neuroradiology, Body, MSK, and General Imaging positions in Tyler, Texas. As a 100% physician-owned private practice, TRA prides itself on maintaining independence from private equity investors, allowing for a focus on quality patient care and a supportive work environment. These positions are ideal for Radiologists looking for a busy practice with competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package. The practice has been serving East Texas for over 60 years and is affiliated with Radiology Associates of North Texas (RANT), a well-established group known for its commitment to quality, innovation, and collaboration in the field of radiology. The available positions include a shareholder-track option with a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, as well as employee positions that can be full-time with benefits or part-time or PRN without benefits. For those interested in independent contracting, there is a pay-per-exam 1099 option available. The practice offers on-site/remote hybrid roles and fully remote roles, catering to the diverse needs of its Radiologists. The compensation package is highly competitive, featuring a signing bonus for on-site partnership track positions, a stipend for trainees, and a moonlighting option for trainees with a Texas medical license. Additionally, TRA provides a generous vacation package with the ability to sell or buy vacation days, an annual CME allowance, and paid liability insurance valued at approximately $85,000. TRA also offers relocation reimbursement of up to $10,000 for those wishing to move to Tyler, along with a $43,500 401K contribution from the group if the employee is fully vested. The practice utilizes advanced radiology productivity tools, including Rad AI for auto-impression generation and Canvas, an internally built integrated workflow software. Teleradiology assistants and IT staff are available 24/7 to support the Radiologists, and Microsoft TEAMS is used for internal communication and case sharing/consults. Candidates must be ABR or AOBR board certified or board eligible and possess a Texas Medical License or the ability to obtain one.
