Clinical Assessment Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial and neuropsychologically -informed evaluations. Evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning using standardized tools and clinical interviews. Identify patterns related to brain functioning, trauma, and environmental influences to inform treatment planning. Psychotherapeutic Intervention Provide integrative therapy grounded in neuroscience research (e.g., trauma -informed care, CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, somatic approaches, neuroplasticity -based interventions). Address dysregulation, trauma responses, maladaptive patterns, and cognitive -emotional processing issues. Support clients in developing insight, emotional regulation skills, behavioral change strategies, and adaptive coping mechanisms. Treatment Planning & Documentation Develop individualized, measurable treatment plans informed by neurological theories and psychological frameworks. Maintain clear, compliant, and timely clinical records. Monitor progress and adjust interventions based on client response and updated assessments. Collaboration & Coordination Work with psychiatrists, neurologists, psychologists, social workers, and other multidisciplinary professionals to ensure coordinated care. Participate in case conferences, clinical reviews, and interdisciplinary team meetings. Provide consultation regarding neuropsychological considerations in treatment. Education & Advocacy Educate clients and families about the neurobiological basis of mental health symptoms, cognitive patterns, and emotional responses. Advocate for trauma -informed, brain -based, and holistic approaches within the clinical setting. Professional Development Stay current with emerging neuroscience research, neuropsychological advances, and therapeutic modalities. Attend trainings, workshops, and continuing education to maintain expertise.
