About The Position

The Department of Neurology at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist/Wake Forest University School of Medicine is recruiting an academic Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our Neuropsychology team. This position offers a dynamic opportunity for an individual at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.

Requirements

• PhD/PsyD from an APA/CPA approved program in Clinical Psychology with specialization in Clinical Neuropsychology.
• Completion of pre-doctoral internship and two-year, postdoctoral fellowship training in neuropsychology.
• ABPP certified or eligible (Clinical Neuropsychology).
• North Carolina licensure or eligible.

Nice To Haves

• Preference is given to an adult focused clinician with training or experience in neuro-oncology, movement disorders, and/or inpatient rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Provide neuropsychological assessments and treatment to patients with various neurological conditions, including stroke, MS, TBI, epilepsy, dementia, cancer, and movement disorders.
• Dedicated time in the Cancer & Cognition Clinic, as well as participation in the Movement Disorder and Inpatient Neuro-Rehabilitation teams.
• Work closely with other specialties and disciplines within the department, facility, patients, and families to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Supervise neuropsychology postdoctoral fellows and collaborate with advanced graduate students.
• Engage in clinical research and collaboration with the academic community.
