About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate pediatric neuropsychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing assessment and diagnostic services for children and adolescents with a variety of neurodevelopmental, neurological and psychological conditions. The neuropsychologist will complete comprehensive evaluations, synthesize and interpret results and provide feedback and guidance to caregivers, referring providers, educational teams and other stakeholders. A primary focus of this position will be working closely with our Cancer and Blood Disorders program and Survivorship Clinic. This includes opportunities to follow patients from early childhood through young adulthood, monitoring for treatment and late effects of treatment, collaborating with members of the Cancer and Blood Disorders team, and providing tailored recommendations to support children and their families through their treatment journey. This position also offers opportunities for participation in research with the Cancer and Blood Disorders team, as well as opportunities for teaching and speaking to community groups.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology (clinical, school or other appropriate area of psychology) from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of an APA-accredited internship
  • Completion of a 2 year postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology
  • Licensed or license-eligible in Minnesota
  • Experience with a wide range of pediatric populations and neurodevelopmental conditions (e.g. ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, genetic or other medical conditions impacting development)
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic and report-writing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Board certification or eligibility in Clinical Neuropsychology
  • Experience working in interdisciplinary or medical settings
