The Department of Psychology at Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our team of psychologists and counselors. The ideal candidate will have experience in a rehabilitation setting as part of an interdisciplinary team that includes rehabilitation physicians, nurses, therapists, and other clinical professionals. A strong background in rehabilitation neuropsychology is preferred. This position will be split between our Dallas Day Neuro Program and our Neuro Transitional Rehabilitation locations.

Requirements

  • PhD or PsyD from an APA/CPA approved program in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology or Health Psychology
  • Completion of an APA accredited internship
  • Completion of a postdoctoral fellowship with emphasis in Rehabilitation Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology
  • Eligibility for board certification in Rehabilitation Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology
  • Licensed or license eligible in the state of Texas

Nice To Haves

  • A strong background in rehabilitation neuropsychology is preferred.
  • Experience in a rehabilitation setting as part of an interdisciplinary team that includes rehabilitation physicians, nurses, therapists, and other clinical professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide both assessment and intervention services, including brief bedside cognitive assessments and comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations.
  • Offer consultation to physicians and other interdisciplinary team members.
  • Provide education to patients and families.
  • Participate in program development, clinically based research, and process improvement initiatives.
