About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation at Lakeway has an immediate opening for a Licensed Psychologist to join our expanding Behavioral Health services. This role would join psychology and counseling staff already working in our OP Day Neuro treatment programs. Prior experience in a rehab setting is highly desirable. Our hospital is located in Lakeway Texas in the scenic hill country on the southern shores of Lake Travis. Lakeway is a resort community about 25 miles west of downtown Austin. The city offers an outdoor lifestyle with a 65 mile long lake, golf courses, tennis courts, marinas, a private airport, 100 acres of parkland hiking and biking trails, and nearly 500 acres of greenbelts.

Requirements

• PhD or PsyD from an APA/CPA approved program in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology or Health Psychology.
• Completion of an APA accredited internship.
• Completion of a postdoctoral fellowship with emphasis in Rehabilitation Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology.
• Eligibility for board certification in Rehabilitation Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology.
• Licensed or license eligible in the state of Texas.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychodiagnostic evaluations, psychological counseling, and crisis intervention to patients and families.
• Conduct neuropsychological evaluations and/or testing.
• Provide recommendations and consultations to staff members regarding patient care matters.
• Work with patients post brain injury (BI) or cerebrovascular accident (CVA) for return to work/school.

Benefits

• Compensation depends upon candidate’s years of experience and internal equity.
• Starting Salary: $130,000 - $158,469 annually.
