About The Position

Requirements

Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license for the position you are applying for.
Florida RN license or valid multistate compact license required.
Associate Degree or RN Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of recent (within the last 4 years) acute care RN experience required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
Strong neurological assessment, communication, and patient education skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess patient condition upon admission and during each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting changes in status.
Perform nursing procedures and monitoring as ordered by medical providers, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
Administer prescribed medications and monitor patients for therapeutic response and adverse reactions.
Provide responsive, proactive, and patient-focused care to meet patient needs and enhance the patient experience.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
Advocate for patients and families while supporting safe, effective, and evidence-based care delivery.
