About The Position

MercyOne North Iowa Neurology is seeking a full-time neurologist to join a team of 1 neurologist and 2 advanced practice providers. The position is located at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, a 342-bed regional referral teaching hospital recognized as a Top 100 Hospital nationally. The neurologist will work in a primary stroke center and will have the opportunity to engage in both inpatient and outpatient care. Sub-specialty interests in EEG, EMG, Epilepsy, Sleep, MS, and Movement Disorders are welcome in the context of general neurology. The role includes participation in Grand Rounds, a non-burdensome call schedule, and teaching opportunities for Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residents and medical students. The position offers a highly competitive compensation package, including a $100,000 commencement bonus and a full benefits package.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology
• Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school
• Completion of an appropriate residency program
• Ability to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges
• Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license
• Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate
• Above average communication skills
• Ability to work with a team
