About The Position

Atrium Health Neurosciences Institute – Neurology seeks a qualified Neurology Advanced Practice Professional (PA/NP) to join our outpatient team and provide care to patients in our Rapid Headache Clinic at Atrium Health Neurology in Charlotte . This is a rare opportunity to join our team of experienced neurology providers in a dynamic outpatient setting . You will collaborate closely with our neurology providers to provide rapid a ccess care for our headache patients as well as continuity care for a panel of patients . Major responsibilities include providing both direct and indirect care in the ambulatory setting to provide rapid access for our established headache patients. We invest in the professional and clinical growth of our Neurology APP team offering numerous leadership, academic , and research opportunities . We are looking for someone that is eager to learn, driven , and motivated to provide the highest level of clinical care . Our APPs are involved in quality improvement initiatives and support the ongoing education of our team and learners ( other APPs, APP students/fellow s , nurses, and new clinical teammates ). Our Atrium Health Neurology team consists of over 60 physicians and 30+ APPs across Charlotte fostering an engaged and collaborative environment. Our established APP Leadership structure , alongside our Center for Advanced Practice, provides support, advocacy, and numerous opportunities for professional growth while prioritizing well-being and cultural safety for our team . Highlights of the position: Provide rapid evaluation and treatment for our established headache patients. Provide ongoing care for headache patients in a continuity clinic setting Full-time position ( 40 hours per week) Monday-Friday No call , nights, or weekends. We provide our APPs with a comprehensive onboarding experience that includes a customized clinical and didactic orientation for first 10- 12 weeks with MDs and APPs across the department and is then followed by ongoing clinical support and educational opportunities.
