Neurologist Independent 1099
About The Position
Concentra is seeking a Neurologist to join their team as a 1099 independent contractor. This contract position is designed to complement the contractor's existing private practice, involving approximately a 4-hour shift on a weekly or biweekly basis at a Concentra location. Concentra Advanced Specialists manage medically complex patients, aiming to expedite their return to work and functional restoration. The Neurologist will collaborate with medical and therapy providers to offer specialist services, including EMGs and NCS, for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries. Additionally, the role involves communicating with employers and actively participating in case management, providing treatments that significantly impact patients' lives.
Requirements
- Licensure requirements of the state of practice
- Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
- Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Neurology
- Must have Medical Malpractice Insurance which will cover you while on site
Nice To Haves
- Preferred experience in treating patients with work related injuries
Responsibilities
