Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology; eligible for Maryland medical licensure.
• Excellent diagnostic judgment, communication, and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary environment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior inpatient or hospital-based neurology experience preferred; strong new graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform neurological evaluations and consultations for hospitalized patients.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute neurological conditions, including stroke, seizure, and movement disorders.
• Collaborate closely with hospitalists, intensivists, and other specialists to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Interpret neuroimaging and diagnostic studies as clinically indicated.
• Participate in daily rounds, case discussions, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Contribute to hospital quality improvement and continuing education initiatives.
