About The Position

Delivers clinical care to patients in the PMG Neurology practice in outpt clinic. Performs Botox injections, EMG/NCV and interprets EEGs. Participates in night call in rotation with Neurohospitalists. Supervises the care delivered by APCs in the PMG Neurology practice Support mechanisms to gather and report quality measures Receives and resolves patient, staff and provider complaints. Participates in quality improvement plans Works with the leadership team including DPO, MSO, clinic manager on the practice¿s financial, clinical, and service quality performance; Participates in the recruitment and retention of physicians and staff who work in the practice Takes corrective action when arranged with accountability and authority Performs other functions as required

Requirements

  • M.D./D.O. in clinical practice.
  • Current New Mexico License required.
  • Board certified in Neurology
  • Ability to determine care plans for patients and execute them.
  • Ability to teach and train in the care they deliver to Neurology patients in clinic.
  • Sits, stands, walks 8-12 hours a day.
  • Assumes and maintains various postural positions from ground to overhead.
